Housing
A vatiety of homes
A mix of 287 homes will be available for-sale. The neighborhood is designed to meet the needs of a range of households and includes duplexes and detached homes organized around small and large motor courts. (A motor court is a shared driveway that lives like a small cul-de-sac.) The homes will be available in a range of sizes and will feature three complementary architectural styles: Farmhouse, Santa Barbara and Transitional Spanish.
Dedicated Affordable housing
The project also includes 48 dedicated affordable units on the west side of the site that will be developed and managed by The Chelsea Investment Corporation.
Unlike the for-sale homes, the affordable homes will be located in a separate, three-story residential building fronting Jamacha Road. The building will include a mix of one- and two-bedroom units.
The affordable housing will include its own community space and outdoor amenities, including a shaded BBQ and seating area, a tot lot, a teen play area and a dog park.
Together, the for-sale homes and dedicated affordable housing will provide housing opportunities for a wider range of ages, household sizes and income levels.
