Frequently Asked Questions

This FAQs list will continue to grow as we progress through the City review and approval process. Please email us if you have additional questions to add to this list.

What do you hope to do with the land?

Trellis is comprised of 287 market rate, for sale homes and 48 dedicated affordable units. Homes will be linked through a series of open spaces and pedestrian pathways. Read more.

What can we expect from you as our neighbor?

We pride ourselves on being a good neighbor and are committed to open communication and transparency throughout the process. From one-on-one community engagement and small group meetings to public workshops and open houses, there are a variety of ways we’ll be interacting with the community and providing updates on the project. Learn more about how you can get involved or contact us to schedule a meeting.

Where are you in the approval process?

We are just getting started! Our first application was submitted in the summer of 2026. We are working closely with county staff on refining the initial vision and will be kicking off our outreach program soon. Following a complete environmental review, we are hoping to achieve county approval by late 2028.

What’s next?

We are in the process of responding to initial comments on our first submittal and will be resubmitting our application in the coming months. We plan to present at the Valle de Oro Community Planning Group prior to resubmission. Going forward, we will post more opportunities to get involved on this website or you can join our email list to be notified of project milestones and upcoming events.
